In a large bowl, mix together egg, margarine, sugar, and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, salt, cinnamon, baking soda, and baking powder. Add dry ingredients to large bowl in the previous step.
Add rolled oats, coconut, chocolate chips, and (optional) walnuts, and raisins. Mix well.
Roll into quarter size balls. Place on baking sheet.
Bake at 310° F for 15-17 minutes.
